Packaging

The packaging is made of mushrooms, it is 100% home compostable. After use, just break it into pieces and add it to your houseplant pot or garden. It not only composts quickly, but also enriches the soil with nutrients. And if it gets into water, it decomposes without harming the environment.

The paper that STRÖME uses is made from agricultural waste (leaves and stalks that are left over). The production of this paper has 29% less impact on the environment than recycled paper. This paper gives agricultural waste a second life. Leaves and stalks that are left over from the harvest are normally burned. In this process, raw materials are lost and unnecessary CO2 is released. By using them as raw material for paper and cardboard, PaperWise is created. A wood-free paper produced with very low CO2 emissions.
